Fully automatic labeling machines serve as core equipment for finished product marking, sorting and traceability in the printing industry, directly impacting print quality, delivery efficiency and brand reputation. However, labeling operations face prominent technical limitations imposed by unique industry characteristics.
Printed products come in a wide range of specifications, including picture albums, posters, packaging boxes and printed rolls with varied forms. Most surfaces consist of paper or laminated film that readily absorbs moisture and wrinkles, bringing difficulties in positioning during labeling and frequently resulting in skewed labels, air bubbles and label detachment.
Label matching presents considerable challenges. Custom printed labels are widely adopted, which are thin, lightweight and susceptible to stretching. Their adhesive performance is greatly affected by temperature, humidity and residual ink. Labels tend to stick together or shift during feeding, and any precision error will ruin the overall appearance of printed materials.
